Sacred Surrogacy Continues Successful Retreat Season

Upcoming Events to Take Place in Ontario and British Columbia

Last month, Sacred Surrogacy hosted over 50 surrogates at their retreat located in beautiful Pine Lake, Alberta. The weekend-long event was hosted by Pine Lake Camp, a lakeside retreat facility, and provided surrogates with the opportunity to connect with one another and forge a strong community of friendship and sisterhood. Not only were there surrogates in attendance from the local area, but attendees travelled from as far as British Columbia and Ontario to be a part of the event.

While the majority of surrogates were affiliated with Canadian Fertility Consulting, two independent surrogates and a surrogate from another agency were also in attendance. As a part of Sacred Surrogacy's mandate, supporting and connecting surrogates throughout North America is the program’s top priority, no matter a surrogate’s affiliation with another agency. During the retreat, surrogates participated in activities to nurture their personal development while also being treated to massages, henna application and prenatal yoga. A large number of CFC’s staff were also in attendance to help facilitate the event.

Sacred Surrogacy’s next two weekend retreats will be taking place in Brantford, Ontario from Sept. 6 to 8, 2019 and Providence Point, Ontario from Sept. 27 to 29, 2019. As the Ontario retreats are the busiest of the season, CFC offers two separate retreat dates in Western and Eastern Ontario for greater accessibility. The final retreat of the season will be taking place in British Columbia in October, and registration is now open for all three events. These retreats are an empowering, fulfilling and enriching way for surrogates to share their experiences with others. Sacred Surrogacy encourages surrogates from around Canada and the United States to attend for a weekend of relaxation, honouring, celebration and community.
